This mother cat was abandoned while pregnant, exhausted and looking for a place to give birth to her baby. When we found her, she was giving birth in the middle of the street and we found her with the baby safely at our place.

Come be part of the "Sponsor-Pet health" program, which is part of our effort to provide assistance and protection for abandoned or unwanted street cats. This program allows all of you, especially animal lovers, as well as those who want to help but are unable to adopt, to actively participate in rescuing. Through the "Sponsor-Pet health" Program, you can help through financial assistance to care for the welfare of cats at the Rastra Meow Rescue shelter until the animals find homes. Your donation will be used to purchase pet food and medicine, prepare for neutering, and help meet the daily needs.

4th March 2025 once again Mr & Mrs Schmidt sponsored all the cats for vaccination for the 2nd time even though they are not in Malaysia the donations are still channeled to the cats at RastraMeow Rescue.
Surgery for Simba
Simba
Merah or also can be called Simba, the name given by Mr & Mrs Schmidt. They took Simba to Windsor Hospital because they felt sorry for the condition of his eyes, then they sponsored Simba to have surgery on his right eye.
Wilma
Wilma in ICU
We named her as Wilma she had a common cold & flu but then it got worse and had to be admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) because of difficulty breathing. All the treatment costs for the cat were covered by Mrs Schmidt.
